Merced S. Boyce, founder of BLAC minerals longed for a cosmetic line that was inclusive, diverse, and most importantly; free of traditional toxic ingredients and additives commonly found in makeup. When she didn't see what she was looking for she decided to create it herself.

We stand by our core principles of our products being Toxic-Free Clean Beauty. We do not use additives such as talc, bismuth oxychloride, sulfates, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban among others. Makeup shouldn't harm your skin but help to improve it.

The mission behind BLAC has always been to showcase the diversity of women of color. We come in a myriad of shades and that needs to be reflected. Our range of product is created to work for all the beautiful shades of brown the encompass who we are without compromise.
